Our Staff

John N. Bagley, Clinical Director
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
With a MSW in Social Work and BS in Psychology from the University of Utah, John Bagley's credentials include working in adolescent group homes and residential treatment facilities. John has over 35 years' experience in substance abuse rehabilitation, which includes directing the Salt Lake Alcohol Recovery Center.

Debbie Hansen, Founder and Executive Director
Debbie Hansen has worked with adolescents for the past 10 years. She also has 25 years' experience in business management and administration. Her list of qualifications include being a trained instructor for the Crisis Prevention Institute in non-violent crisis intervention, a certified coach with specific training in coaching parents of struggling teens and young adults, and she has also completed the Response Ability Pathways training for working with young adults.

Jennifer Bastian, Co-Founder and Vice President of Operations
A certified parent coach, Jennifer Bastian has 3 years' experience in Outdoor Behavioral Health as well as over 12 years' in administration. She has also successfully completed Response Ability Pathways training for working with children and adolescents.

Jeff Daniels, Field Director
Jeff Daniels' credentials include: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)- Intermediate, EMT-Cardio-Pulmonary Resucitation Instructor, and Hazardous Materials Technician, with training in Wilderness First Aid, Global Positions Systems, and mapping. He is a volunteer with the local Sevier County Emergency Medical Services. He is currently finishing his college degree.

Kyle Tolman, Senior PathFinder (Field Staff)
Kyle Tolman has participated in the treatment of troubled teens in wilderness settings for the past 10 years. Being a certified Emergency Medical Technician has helped keep everyone safe on the trail. He also volunteers his skills to the local county ambulance service, and is currently a Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America.

James Peoples: PathFinder (Field Staff)
James Peoples joined Pinnacle after working in an intensive Therapeutic Residential Treatment Facility. He has extensive wilderness experience, which was put to the test during his 2004 hike of the Appalachian Trail. He has also taken part in a National Park Service Seasonal Law Enforcement Training Academy, where he attained his Medical First Responder, Firefighter and Park Ranger certifications. He is also CPR and First Aid certified.

Judy Delong: PathFinder (Field Staff)
Judy has earned her bachelor degree from San Jose State University in Psychology as well as Radio, Television, and Film. For the past 10 years, she has been a competitive distance runner, including as team captain and assistant coach at SJSU. She has studied abroad in England, Western Europe, and China, and found it an invaluable experience.
