Outdoor Therapeutic Adolescent Treatment Program
Ages 13-17 Co-Ed

At the Pinnacle Wilderness Foundation, we understand what an emotionally-challenging time this is for you, as a parent. We commend you for your courage in taking the first step toward finding help for you and your child.

Pinnacle is a highly therapeutic program. We integrate daily group therapy with weekly individual therapy to achieve treatment goals. Our highly-trained staff will work closely with your adolescent to identify their addictions or behaviors which need to be addressed in their recovery process. We can provide valuable insights and explore solutions that can help to heal family relationships.

Our rolling open enrollment allows you to admit your child in to our program on any day, ensuring that your child receives the help they desperately need.

Pinnacle's philosophy includes a strong spiritual component, which supports each adolescent's individual faith, that we believe is vital to a successful recovery. We encourage students to explore and develop a relationship with the Great Creator that will guide them through life's journey. Nature's beauty has an eye-opening effect on adolescents, and their ability to understand a Higher Power.

We specialize in treating adolescents struggling with:
  Substance Abuse
  Anger and Rage
  Rejecting Parental Control
  Academic Failure
  Emotionally Troubled
  Depression
  Anxiety
  ADD/ADHD
  Behavioral Problems
  Defiant and Rebellious
  Attachment Disorder
  Poor Peer Choices

Pinnacle is a fully licensed and accredited adolescent treatment program. We utilize the distraction-free environment of our wilderness setting to achieve therapeutic treatment goals. A detailed treatment plan will be developed using information from our intake assessment and family objectives to achieve accountability, confidence, and self-worth within each student. Our dual approach provides a powerful opportunity to efficiently address a variety of behavioral and emotional issues.

Parents are involved in all phases of treatment, and therapists coordinate and supervise activities, including letter writing, e-mails, and phone therapy -- or live sessions when geography permits. It is critical that you do not delay in finding the right resources which will bring about change for your adolescent and family. Pinnacle's caring admission counselors can help determine if our program is the right fit for your child. If necessary, we can refer you to other reputable programs that may better assist you.
